The first automatic movement with a mini-rotor reated in Russia
A new addition to Konstantin Chaykin’s Wristmons collection is always an exciting event. The reason is simple: such a premiere is seen as a long-awaited answer to the consistently intriguing question of what design idea has sparked Chaykin’s inventive mind this time. The new Wristmon also captures attention because, in the latest models of the collection, the master brings his inventions and technical developments to life, occasionally introducing functions that didn’t exist before.
A quick glance at the Zebra watch is enough to recognize that it is not only a new character and design but also a new movement. Considering the dial configuration, the closest analog would be the Minotaur Special Chinese New Year 2021 watch, where, for the first time in the Wristmons collection, a Joker-time indication emerged with two disk indicators for hours and minutes (depicting the eyes of the character) and a large two-disk day of the week indicator (depicting the nostrils of the character). In the Zebra watch, Konstantin Chaykin employs a similar configuration, but the resemblance ends there: for this model, he developed a new calibre, K.33.3, for both the basic mechanism and the joker-indication module, marking the first automatic movement with a mini-rotor entirely designed and manufactured in Russia.
The watch is a piece unique and made to the customer’s order. We cannot repeat the design.

The Joker watch and the subsequent models in the Wristmons collection (Wristmons- “mechanical monsters on the wrist” ) are one of the most unexpected and spectacular discoveries in the watch industry in recent times.
Few-including Konstantin Chaykin himself, the creator of the design and inventor of the movement-would have expected such a positive reaction from watch connoisseurs and experts.
In developing the Joker watch with the face-like dial, Konstantin Chaykin was less concerned with the complex movement than with the idea that the watch is a work of art that evokes a direct emotional response. The appeal of the Joker lies in the freshness of the idea, which is particularly impressive when contrasted with the traditional world of classic dials and hands, in the imposing design of the harmonious features of the face-like dial and in its ruthlessly positive character.

Introducing UNIQUE PIG 2019
On the eve of 2019, Konstantin Chaykin welcomed the Chinese zodiac sign of the coming year-the pig. With the Konstantin Chaykin Joker watch, the family of charismatic, eccentric, lovely, sometimes terrifying, but definitely spectacular, creative and rare watches gathered in the Wristmons collection was born.
Unique Pig 2019 is another character in this collection that definitely exudes a lot of fun. But there is also something serious in this project-this project later became the starting point for the development of other Wristmons dedicated to the celebrations of the New Year according to the traditional Chinese calendar.
The animal’s cute face is pictured on the dial in shades of pink, which is even more unique to the Wristmons collection and provides a provocative contrast to the patina of the bronze case.
