In mathematics, the Greek letter Lambda is the symbol for ??intrinsic values’. At NOMOS Glashutte, Lambda is a gold watch valued very highly indeed; designed according to the rules of engineering, loving produced according to the traditions of Glashutte watchmaking: A timepiece that generates the noblest emotions.
The delicate interplay of the hands, filigree and gold-plated, are reminiscent of a kinetic sculpture-and the finely drawn dial of an etching.
“Lovingly produced in Glashutte” is individually hand-engraved onto the balance cock. A greeting that also proves that the best is often hidden from sight.
Produced in the NOMOS Atelier, according to all the rules of Glashutte fine watchmaking: the hand-wound caliber DUW 1001. Equipped among other things with twin mainspring barrels and a power reserve indicator. Once wound, this watch ticks half a week, so 84 hours. A caliber “lovingly produced in Glashutte”-as engraved on the balance cock.
