Alpine Eagle extends its range of watches with complications by introducing a flying tourbillon watch. At just 3.30 mm thick, the L.U.C 96.24-L movement stems from developments by Chopard Manufacture. Chopard’s Mille Miglia collection welcomes a new design for the Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph model. Its 40.5 mm case in Chopard’s exclusive Lucent Steel, made with a recycling rate of at least 80%, frames a dial inspired by the black and white checkered flag marking the arrival of a motor-race winner. Symbolising the competitive spirit, this dial is called La Gara’, the Italian word for race. It is topped by a superb glass box’ crystal ensuring optimal opening onto the dial and hence maximum legibility. This model beats to the rhythm of a chronograph movement with chronometer-certified precision. Competitive spirit and sense of camaraderie; energy and dynamism; speed and style: such are the attributes epitomising Italy’s celebrated 1000 Miglia Italian classic car race that Chopard has been annually expressing since 1988 through the watches of the Mille Miglia collection.

Mille Miglia GTS Chrono

The Mille Miglia GTS Chrono brings the world of racing to the wrist. Housed in a 44 mm Lucent Steel case, its self-winding chronograph movement is chronometer-certified by the COSC and displays the hours, minutes and date, along with a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock, small seconds at 9 o’clock and a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock. Aesthetically, the striking timepiece is equally impressive. With its emblematic red details, the watch subtly evokes Mille Miglia racing cars: pushers inspired by engine pistons, anti-grip surfaces recalling a brake pedal, and a rubber strap suggesting tire-treads.
