Chopard’s Mille Miglia collection welcomes a new design for the Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph model. Its 40.5 mm case in Chopard’s exclusive Lucent Steel, made with a recycling rate of at least 80%, frames a dial inspired by the black and white checkered flag marking the arrival of a motor-race winner. Symbolising the competitive spirit, this dial is called La Gara’, the Italian word for race. It is topped by a superb glass box’ crystal ensuring optimal opening onto the dial and hence maximum legibility. This model beats to the rhythm of a chronograph movement with chronometer-certified precision. Competitive spirit and sense of camaraderie; energy and dynamism; speed and style: such are the attributes epitomising Italy’s celebrated 1000 Miglia Italian classic car race that Chopard has been annually expressing since 1988 through the watches of the Mille Miglia collection.

Following a successful initial collaboration in 2021, Chopard is once again combining its creativity with that of the Bamford Watch Department studios to deliver a very exclusive edition of its Mille Miglia GTS Power Control timepiece. With its orange, gray and black details, its oversized numerals and its woven-effect rubber strap, the new Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Bamford Edition Desert Racer’ reflects the passion uniting Chopard with motorsports. These 50 timepieces are crafted in bead-blasted titanium C a light, yet sturdy material. Subtly combining sleek aesthetics and technical excellence, it is powered by the Chopard 01.08-C movement endowed with chronometer-certified accuracy.

Power, resistance and aesthetics come together in the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control, a resolutely masculine timepiece bearing all the hallmarks of Chopard expertise. Housing the self-winding Chopard Caliber 01.08-C and beating at a frequency of 28,800 v.p.h, this Lucent Steel watch on a rubber strap features an emblematic black dial with a power-reserve indicator at 9 o’clock. Chronometer certified by the COSC, the movement is equipped with a stop-seconds function allowing precise adjustments. Water-resistant to 100 meters, the 43mm case is equipped with an anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The movement, driven by a tungsten oscillating weight, can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.
