The lacquered dial with fine silver graining has laser-cut galvanic black indexes, tasteful minute numerals and a matching railroad chapter ring. The watch combines the signature date display with an additional characteristic element of Glashutte Original: the sophisticated moon phase, which is elaborately crafted by hand. Blued, pear-shaped hands and a filigree seconds hand complete the classic look of this elegant timepiece.
Comfortable and accurate
With this model, the Panorama Date and moon phase display are easily set using the crown, which renders an additional corrector on the case superfluous. Crown position 1 is used to wind the watch; in position 2 the date and moon phase can be adjusted, and position 3 serves to set the time of day. Thanks to its finely toothed gear, the moon phase is extremely precise: in theory, it requires correction – by one day – only after 122 years.
