This mechanical men’s watch is presented in a 42 mm stainless steel case and is the first timepiece from Glashutte Original to reveal its inner beauty on the dial side. This was made possible by the inverse arrangement of components that are normally only visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The PanoInverse comes with a choice of a Louisiana Alligator nubuck leather strap, a synthetic fabric strap, or a stainless steel bracelet with fine adjustment mechanism.

Perfect precision
Glashutte Original’s designers have developed a number of different regulation systems to compensate for even very minor rate deviations. One of these is the duplex swan-neck fine adjustment, which is based on the basic principle of the swan-neck fine adjustment and extends it by integrating a second swan-neck spring: this is connected to the balance and optimizes the insertion of the pallets in the escape wheel. Thus on the right side one can regulate the rate and on the left the anchor symmetry – for extreme precision.
Sophisticated dial design
In order to make a large part of the mechanical movement visible, the dial on the PanoInverse is formed of rings rather than a monochrome plane. The two galvanic black dial rings for hour, minute and small second on the left side are mounted on a rhodium-plated three-quarter plate, which is normally placed at the back of the movement. An elegant power reserve display on the right side indicates how much energy remains in the spring barrel.
Traditionally finished movement
The traditional decorative finishing of this exquisite timepiece are recognizable at first glance: screw-mounted gold chatons, three-quarter plate with Glashutte stripes, visible perlage on the base plate, applied Arabic numerals and indexes, hands in white gold, and the innovative duplex swan-neck fine adjustment. The latter is mounted on an artfully hand-engraved balance bridge. The screw balance beneath it permits fascinating views of the manual winding Calibre 66-06 in motion.
