This new model, crafted in 18-carat white gold, features the self-winding Calibre 7124, which is impressively thin at 2.7 mm.The design pays homage to the original Royal Oak of 1972 with a sporty stainless steel appearance. The case and bracelet are made of white gold, with mirror-polished edges and satin-finished surfaces, a signature of Audemars Piguet’s design. The movement is treated in anthracite grey to enhance the openwork, with the inner bezel slightly darker for better legibility. The watch boasts a 57-hour power reserve and meticulous openwork, a technique employed by Audemars Piguet since the 1930s. The Calibre 7124 is designed to fit the slim “Jumbo” case without compromising its elegance or functionality, showcasing the brand’s expertise. Advanced production technologies are used, followed by hand finishing of each component.
